Blackhawk Bicycle and Ski Club members enjoy a
different ride each Sunday during the cycling season. Check the Sunday Ride Schedule.
Monday Evening - Leisure
Ride
During the warmer months we hold a potluck once a month (except August)
after the Monday night ride. This will be the first Monday following
the regular monthly club meeting. Bring
a dish to pass, table setting, and your own drinks.
Tuesday Morning - Capron
Breakfast Express
9:00 AM and (8:00 AM in June, July & August)
- Meet at the
Sportscore Two west parking lot, 8800 E. Riverside Blvd., Loves Park (corner
of Riverside Blvd. and Paulson Rd.), for a moderately paced leaderless ride
over flat to rolling terrain. An 18 mile option stops for breakfast west of
Poplar Grove. The 30 mile route continues on to a Capron breakfast. Call Fred Kennerly at 815-398-6861 for more information.
Tuesday Evening - Tandem Tuesday
(Single bike riders welcome)
Wednesday Night –
Pedaling Around Pec
There is no ride on the second Wednesday of the month due to the club meeting.
Thursday Morning - Breakfast
in 'Bago
9:00 AM and (8:00 AM in June, July
& August) - Leave from the
Faith
Center 's south parking lot, 4699 S. Main at on the corner
of South Main Street and Pelley Road for a 22 mile (round trip) flat to rolling ride
to breakfast in Winnebago. This is a leaderless leisure to moderate paced
ride with optional extensions. This is a favorite for retirees, school teachers,
night workers, firemen and anyone else who can get away in the morning.
Thursday Evening - Mellow

Friday morning
8:00 AM (9:00 AM in September) - Start from the Boone County Fairgrounds, 8791 Rt 76, Belvidere. This is a moderate paced ride over flat terrain. No one will be left behind on the 42 mile ride. Stop in Harvard for breakfast. Call Castor Armesto at 815-547-6240.
