Sunday
Blackhawk Bicycle and Ski Club members enjoy a different ride each Sunday during the cycling season. Check the Sunday Ride Schedule.

Monday Evening - Leisure Ride

6:00 PM - Meet at Baumann Park (Walnut St and Genoa Rd) in Cherry Valley for a leisurely ride with mileage to be determined by those present.  This ride is a good ride for families and beginners as well as anyone who would like to take a leisurely ride with other bicyclists. You won't be left behind.  During the warmer months we hold a potluck once a month (except August) after the Monday night ride. This will be the first Monday following the regular monthly club meeting. Bring a dish to pass, table setting, and your own drinks.

Tuesday Morning - Capron Breakfast Express

9:00 AM  and (8:00 AM in June, July & August) - Meet at the Sportscore Two west parking lot, 8800 E. Riverside Blvd., Loves Park (corner of Riverside Blvd. and Paulson Rd.), for a moderately paced leaderless ride over flat to rolling terrain. An 18 mile option stops for breakfast west of Poplar Grove. The 30 mile route continues on to a Capron breakfast. Call Fred Kennerly at 815-398-6861 for more information.

Tuesday Evening - Tandem Tuesday (Single bike riders welcome)

6:00 PM - Meet at Blackhawk Springs Park, 5921 S. Perryville Road, Cherry Valley (on the south bank of the Kishwaukee River). The ride pace is moderate on flat to rolling terrain. Main at on the corner of South Main Street and Pelley Road for a 22 mile (round trip) flat to rolling ride to breakfast in Winnebago. This is a leaderless leisure to moderate paced ride with optional extensions. This is a favorite for retirees, school teachers, night workers, firemen and anyone else who can get away in the morning.

Thursday Evening - Mellow Miles

6:00 PM - This ride starts at New Milford School , 2128 New Milford School Road. This is a leaderless ride. It's a good ride for families and beginners and those who want a slower pace.
